Fotolia’s TEN Collection brings together photographers and designers for unprecedented artwork in Season 3
NEW YORK March 05 2014 – Two artists, two different skill sets, one creation – this is the idea behind Fotolia’s third season of TEN. Following a successful second season (with over 300,000 downloads during the initial 24-hour period and over 1M visitors), Fotolia is adding a new spin to its creative and educational TEN project – splitting up ten internationally renowned artists into five artistic pairs (one photographer and one designer). Together, they will create an original digital artwork that depicts their vision of the future. The first duo, photographer Eric Paré from Québec, and designer Mike Campeau of Michigan, will present the fruits of their collaborative labor, “Creating her own future”. Fotolia announces “Instant Contest” for mobile photography
NEW YORK, March 04, 2014 - Worldwide stock photo agency, Fotolia, announced today a global contest, which will award a prize of $5000 USD for the best selling image of 2014 in its new Instant Collection for iPhones. In addition, every image accepted in the Instant Collection before the end of April, will instantly earn $1. From January 10th to February 10th 2014 Fotolia’s TEN Season 2 design contest asked digital art fans around the world- professionals and amateurs alike - to challenge the ten international artists chosen for Season 2 of the TEN project from innovative stock photography agency Fotolia. To promote new creative talent Fotolia offered a grand prize of over $130,000, including an international promotional campaign. In total, 1537 designs were submitted by participants from 22 different counties and the campaign reached over 500,000 people internationally on Facebook. Grand prize winner Ezequiel Pini of Argentina won the contest by challenging renowned Polish designer Peter Jaworowski and his creation, "Game On”.

Following two successful seasons, with over 1 000 000 unique visitors worldwide in 2013, Fotolia, one of the world’s leading stock photography agencies, will launch the third season of its creative TEN Collection, which promotes innovation, education, and artistic expression around the globe. The next season splits the ten featured artists into five artistic couples: an internationally renowned photographer and an equally renowned graphic artist. Together, they will create a unique piece of art that explores their vision of the future. The works of art will be made available for free and will contain their techniques and source files, so everyone can learn from them.
